Remove flange from grinder and thread cup wheel on shaft - hand tighten only.

Hold the grinder flat on surface to be ground. Keeping both hands on the grinder at all times when grinding.

Begin to grind by moving the grinder in a circular motion to get a flat and even surface.

Take your time - do not overheat the cup. Apply enough pressure to allow the cup to float and remove a minimal amount of material, too much pressure will cause marking and/or gauging of the material and will result in overheating of the cup.
