it is retiling a bathroom at

tiling a new hotel. This efficient

in ceramic, porcelain, marble
and granite. Ideal for piping
work such as water, electricity,
gas, air conditioning and drainage.
Using the
Tile Core Bit is as easy
as 1,2,3. Please follow these
instructions and take your
time to learn how to best
use this Syntec coring bit. The core bit requires a drill
motor with a 3/8" drill chuck,
but is not intended for use with
hammer action drill.
Layout utility holes on the
surface of the material to be
drilled and surround the intended
hole with masking tape to reduce
chipping.
Start the hole by drilling on
a slight angle until the drill
has began to penetrate the surface,
and then straighten the core
drill gradually.
When drilling, apply light pressure
to allow core drill to penetrate
materials without forcing and
causing core bit to over heat.
Before coring your next hole,
remove material from center of
the core drill. BEWARE - core drill
and material will be extremely
hot immediately after drilling
and will cause severe injury
if handled before core drill
and material have had time to
cool.
To maximize drilling speed and
performance add a small amount
of water to the surface of the
material around the core drill.
CAUTION - Keep all water away
from drill motor and all other
electrical connections.
Safety is important so please
follow these simple rules:
Wear eye safety glasses.
Wear a dust mask.
Make sure to have sufficient ventilation at all times.
Remove all loose material before beginning and during the grinding process.
Read the instruction manual for the tool you are using and follow the manufacturer's
directions for the use and maintenance. |
